• "Swan River Cruise"

The transfer to Rottnest from Elizabeth Quay doubles as a Swan RIver cruise with lots of interesting information on the happenings on the Swan River and on buildings and spots at the banks of the river. After tranferring to a sea capable ferry in Fremantle the rest of the journey to Rottnest was quick. On the way back from Fremantle to the Elizabeth Quay / Barrack St passengers were even able to see river dolphins. There are 26 dolphins in the Swan River, so there is a good chance to actually see them. In my case we were very lucky as one of the dolphins jumped 1m out of the water and could be seen in full. Snack bar including wine available, but I did not make use of that.
